Animals need water and power. You don’t have much of either. Running a business is costly? What differentiates your zoo?

What is the tax burden?

I like the course of action of not selling the lot because who knows who your new neighbors might be , not starting a petting zoo as the regulatory issues of operating a animal business in California.

What I do like is you raising your ac repair side business prices to what a dealer charges. And do more ac repair business on the side.

Without knowing your financials, it's hard to say whether or not you should sell your land. Knowing what I know about you, I am guessing your heart is saying no? You just said how you won't like how it'll change traffic and such. I imagine privacy would drastically change too.

If you're entertaining the selling of your land, why don't you entertain moving out of California?
