I would tell a private buyer of the oil usage. I am somewhere between 1 quart per 800 miles are less on my Saturn. That may be normal for many Saturn's, but with your car being a newer Civic it may not be something on a person's radar. I have learned most lessons about cars the hard way. I would not want someone to loose an engine going low on oil. I would also tell them about BITOG. Then we may seeing a post about a Civic that uses oil and what other members would recommend.
