1) Don't assume that a larger filter is necessary. The engine maker designs that filter for a reason, and we don't know most of the details.
2) All the filter makers will tell you to use their filter that they've designed to match the engine maker's spec. They must have a reason for saying this, but, again, we don't know most of the details.
3) You can match your filter's bypass pressure setting, thread, gasket size, and room for installation to find a larger filter...but we don't know if there are any filtering capabilities that we lose.
