Seat Cleaning

I need the seats in my Saturn steam cleaned. The car is a '96 and the seats have never been steam cleaned before.

It is a tan colored fabric and over the years, you can really see the nasty grey/black build-up there.

What's a reasonable price to pay to have this done? I see coupon specials for $40 at local car washes.

Or would I be better off asking a carpet cleaning service guy if he's willing to do it on the side?

Do you have anyone that has a small home carpet steamer/cleaner? I use mine to clean carpets and car seats.

Go get yourself a Little Green Machine and you can clean your whole interior as many times as you want.

Pull them from the car, real easy, and you can get all the candy and change that fell down next to the console, and vacuum/steam the carpet beneath.

Yeah, except that's $99. And I really don't want to get addicted to yet another hobby.

Rent a carpet cleaner with an upolstery attachment. Do the car and then carpets in your place.

Hmm, $59.99 - 8% Bing Cashback ($4.79)= ~$55.

But I'd still need chemicals. What works best? Meguiar's APC+?

Walmart's spray on carpet foam has also worked for me. Don't get the stuff on the seat belts though it's too harsh for them. 97 cents and the foamy bubbles float the dirt up on top of them. Use your shop vac or whatever and let air dry a while.
