Not in it's original interpretation, but if you are trying to plan anything here (particularly outdoor works and vege gardens, you need to take into account the bitterly cold part of winter, the clear part of winter, and the windy part of winter (which all runs for more than the 3 months allocated for winter)...

For instance, don't plant tomatoes before melbourne cup.

we're "blessed" to be able to plant almost anything anytime and it will grow, but i can't stand summers!

A good friend of mine has a shirt that says he likes the changing of seasons: Football, Basketball, Baseball and Hockey or something like that.

I 'm with Johnny. Spring time is the best. The days get increasingly longer, the trees bud out, temps are mild. Next is summer, hot and muggy but sunny. Fall is pretty, but, forboding. Every day is getting 2 minutes shorter. Winters are the worst. Only 9 hrs and 5 minutes at the solstice. Dark, it starts getting dark in Boston about 2: 30 PM due to the high rises. And Every yr, my SAD worsens

Fall, winter, spring, summer.

Enjoy the crispness and lack of humidity of september days, and the bugs are gone. Kids are out of walmart and back in school. Aaaaah. Project cars and motorcycles become reasonably priced as storage room becomes dear.

Winter: Burn some wood in the stove, boil some coffee, vanquish nature

Can walk the dog on public beaches. Q-tips hiding in Florida. Once it's below 20'F I can lay on my back and work on cars & stuff without melting the snowpack beneath. No mosquitoes. Few birds.

Spring: Fight mud over frozen ground, have light at 7:30 pm to shovel snow by, all the "good places" to throw snow have been taken. Season ends with black flies.

Summer: Gack. Can always put more clothes on if it gets cold. Horseflies are out now, they love my hair. Humidity means clothes dried on the line need time in the dryer. Tourists everywhere! Wedding season too. Birds make all sorts of racket at 3:45 am.

Spring
Summer
Autumn
Winter(ugh).

I love hot weather as I can always, always find a way to cool down. Even out in the front yard, under a shade tree, light breeze and a large glass of ice tea....watching the world go by. Or I should say, the folks running to the beer store and back.

If I get cold, especially my feet, then I find it hard to warm myself up. Plus I hate the gloomy look of winter.

Give me 80 degrees and above anytime!
