Sealed 7-year old Pennzoil HD 30

Is it okay to use in a newer Craftsman riding mower that calls for 30 weight? I didn't look at the date until I got home. It still touts the Z-7 additive package. Should I use it or look for a newer bottle at another shop?. Thanks.

I'd use it. Heck, I'd use it in my Jeep.

I don't have to worry about additive fall-out or the oil living past its' shelf life or any of those tales do I?

I'd use it, in fact I've used oil a lot older than that. If you are worried shake the oil up before you use it.

Should be no problem. I've used Mobil 1 10W30 API SE in a mower, in fact I'm still using it.

Just make sure there is no add pack at the bottom. If so shake like others have said.

Yes, use it. Lawnmowers can use ANY oil as long as it is changed respectfully.

I have seen many worn out after 15 yrs becuase no oil changes. But I will admit 15 yrs is alot.
