I had to get rid of 95% of my tools when I moved from NJ to TX, a side effect of issues renting a decent apartment and poor planning on my part plus some bad luck.
Anyways, Im looking for a good general household screwdriver set. My last one was a Stanley set that I got at Walmart for $20 or so, had phillips and flats. It was decent, but over the short years, they had started to break/bend. Any good suggestions that have a hardened tip?

I was told that Kobalt at Lowe's was actually a Snap-On manufactured tool. Can anyone here can confirm that? I'd like to know too...

A long time ago they were; not no more.

Mercava- Thanks for the clarification. I had been eyeing the Kobalt set, since its got good reviews on the lowes website.

Stephen- Those pratt reed ones look really nice, and I do like USA made! Im going to do some more research in the morning, and then hopefully order a set by tomorrow evening.

I just got a set of these for my dad and he loves them, he said he wont even bother warrantying his beat up Cman drivers now. Felo Ergonic

It's a gray color, not light. I checked out another website with zoomable photos of the tools.
