Had to post this in the humor section. GG GF was sued in NYS for additional alimony for second wife. The premise was that the divorce decree in S. Arkansas wasn't valid in NYS and she didn't partake in it. His third wife testified over money taken from safe deposit box. She was also suing for alimony. My GG GF was looking for a reprieve on alimony because he had 4-5 ex wives he was supporting. Second wife won and she then sued the third wife for $100k for "alienation of affection". For the record his first wife is my GG grandmother. She died in a car accident when my grandfather was 3yrs old.

He ended up paying more alimony.

There was a stand-up comedian (maybe Shecky Greene?) who had a line: "Now take my 3rd wife, there's a real loser"

He lived in NYS but was a wildcatter who had business around OK/AR. I was visiting my mother over the weekend. We were doing some genealogy and stumbled upon an archived article from the NY Times.

The 5th wife somehow ended up being the lone beneficiary of his entire estate. Must have been a world wind or a life. Haha.
