I picked up 3, 5 quart jugs of Castrol GTX for $5 each. My son, who works at an Autozone in Kentucky said they cleared out Penzoil Ultra at $1/qt. Sure would be nice to get a piece of that action.

They're just getting rid of the non-movers. Each store is different. Both of the oils I picked up were Dexos. QSUD and Edge EP.

This is funny. People assume ASE certification means they are certified on everything. In automobile and light truck there are nine different test. You can be ASE certified on nothing but brakes. I can still say I am ASE certified. You need to understand ASE certifications and check to see which ones the employees have.

Sorry, I just have to brag too... 95 quarts (98.6 if you count the 0.3 extra in the 5+ jugs)

Yep, stopped into Autozone today and had them price check the Nextgen. It posted for $1 per quart, so I cleaned them out of all 16 quarts. Next was QS full synthetic....also at $1 per quart. Took all they had.

Evidently they are slow sellers. That's OK with me!
