Just thought that I would share this. I went to my local Walmart and found quarts of Nextgen 5w-20, 5w30 and 10w30 as well as Nextgen Maxlife 5w-20 in the clearance section - price of $4.00 a quart (ugh). Well, everything is negotiable so I walked over to the automotive counter and asked the manager if he would accept $1.50 a quart, considering that the oil had been sitting there for a while. After a few moments of chin scratching, the manager consented. I picked up all of the regular 5w-20 and 5w30; I wanted to get the maxlife and 10w30, but I had to consider issues of domestic tranquility (the stash is quite large). Anyhow, I probably could have pushed and gotten the stuff for a buck a quart, but I didn't want to try my luck. Total haul for today: 19 more quarts. Hooray.
