1st oil change at 1500 miles.
Switched to Castrol Syntec 5w30

5000 miles changed to Castrol GC

Whats next at my 15,000 mile change?

My supply of GC has dwindled down to the gold castrol M02+

Should I use Rotella T-Syn 5w40? gold GC? mobil 1 0w40? pennzoil platinum? quaker synthetic? dino? chevron?

I drive a lot on the freeway 80-90mph, and a couple of quarter mile runs a week.

The one you didn't mention is the nectar for Toyota metalurgy. Mobil 1. I was never a big fan but the historical evidence suggest that they like each other.

If you feel better with an A3 oil to protect against the hard driving then go with the Gold Castrol, no need to handicap that motor with a full out 40 wt though.

Is the scion TC the one with the 2.4 engine? If so how does it run and is it true there is a dealer installed supercharger kit?

it's the one with the 2.4l 2azfe camry engine, runs good...
but the gearing is quite short. The supercharger is supposed to be out now or very soon...but im still yet to see one..
