Saying Goodbye to our Vanity Tags

There's a misunderstanding between vanity plates and specialty plates it looks like. Vanity plates have your spelling, specialty plates have a different design and maybe support a cause.

new insurance been check out now through our credit union and tags are being returned this fri.. Speaking of causes, yes I was supporting a cause on our plates.. but at that price.. not anymore..

"Vanity" will be going back this Fri

Just doing these two things will save us loads of money through our credit union.

No, @AutoMechanic we're not getting rid of the van, just the vanity tags.

Agreed. They are a pointless waste of money. State already gets enough why give a penny more?

I never considered them. I always thought they were an ego thing and too expensive.

@zzyzzx correct and must I itemize everything.. add in the price of a "support a cause" tag, the cost increase of it being a "commercial utility" van/truck, taxes, fees etc came to $300.00 every 2 years. Then our insurance came due at the same time.. not worth it and stop trying to find flaws in my topics.. This topic was closed yesterday right after finding the new insurance company through our credit union.. Tags will be dropped off this Fri. back to the basic setup and with cheaper insurance. With the amount of money we saved, we'll be able to get back on track with upgrading the suspension.
