I read the micron thing a little different. Wix uses a little odd system for presenting it. 2/20=6/19 means that it gets 1/2 of the 6 micron particles and 19/20 (or 95%) of the 19 micron particles. The numbers on the left are the fractions 1/2 or 1/20 and the numbers on the right are the micron size.

Comparing the two filters one gets 19 micron particles 95% of the time and the other gets 22 micron particles only 50% of the time.

Just because the micron size is smaller doesn't mean that the flow is proportionally less. There are other factors such as material type and surface area that are also considerations.
