my 1995 saab 900se manual states to use "texaco ext 6024" what will be compatible fluid to use. Im sure I wont be able to find the texaco brand. thanks

That's actually a trade name for a Havoline/Texaco coolant, "EXT 6024". You won't find it in the US.

The factory used a coolant that BASF in Europe calls "G-48".

It's a low-silicate, low-pH, phosphate-free, nitrited coolant that can be used in a wide range of engines.

The closest, in fact very close, match is the G-05 coolant used by Ford, Mercedes, and Chrysler and sold under their own names or in North America by Valvoline as G-05.

It's a low-silicate, low-pH, phosphate-free, nitrited long-life coolant.
