??'s for Frank or anyone with input about Auto-Rx

I will be planning to start using the stuff on both my vehicles(01 saturn 1.9L sohc 44kmiles & tacoma 3.4L dohc 52Kmiles) next oil change and have a couple of questions.

1) My saturn has had syn in it changed every 4k miles since breaking 10k total miles and before that it had dino changed every 3k miles. The toyota has had sythetic in since i bought it(46Kmiles) but unsure before that. Would it be recommended for me to go ahead and do a clean/rinse on both or could I just start maint doses every change?

2) Say i do the clean/rinse program then go back to syn and 4-5k mile OCI's, will a maint dose from then on be sufficient for the life of the vehicle or will I have to keep doing the clean/rinse every 25K?

I'd ARX the one that you bought used. The one you ran syn in from the beginning should be pretty clean. I use a good dual rated fleet oil, Delvac 1 to be exact, to keep my engine clean, and forget about the maintenance dose of ARX. That's just me though.

Would recommend doing them both. Add a full bottle of ARX with a new filter installed to each 1500 miles before the end of the current oil fill's life. Then I would run a 2000 mile rinse phase with dino. At this point go back to the synthetic brand of your choice, you will be in good shape.

Use the maintenance dose of 3 ounces with every oil change after you have finished cleansing of engine.
You will keep ring packs in great shape and protect seals. Your performance levels will be tops.
