I'm actually at a Rush concert right now. I haven't been to an arena concert in a loooong time, but I got these tickets free today. I called my 27 year old daughter to see if she wanted them, and we ended up coming together!

And this show is astounding.

Rush have been my favorite band for as long as I can remember.
The documentary Limelight is amazing. They are such a down to earth band.

Is it just me, or (as much as I LOVE Rush) has Geddy been getting alittle more "sloppy" on his live singing? Recently I got together a bunch of Rush live albums and listened to them back to back, beginning to latest. Some of the albums had the same titled songs. I found as I listened farther forward in time, it was almost like his singing was not even singing, but more like what a drunk Rush poser would sound like. Almost turned me off on it completely. I know they are getting older (as am I), but is it?

His singing last night was pretty good. His pitch was excellent, and it looked like his heart was really in it.

I have a buddy who bups into him a lot in a posh area of Toronto while they're walking their dogs.

I've seen them once; About 25yrs ago. Amazing concert. Too many excellent songs to even begin. . . 2112; Hemispheres; Moving Pictures; Subdivisions. Nothing like the Triple at Trident.
