No doubt they are fine filters. Kinda wish they would have chosen a different way to introduce them to the market. Who in the world has seen one unless you have a Pepboys nearby?

I stopped by a pepboys today just to kill some time and lets face it they are fun to walk through. Seems they have about everything in those places. I did about fall over when I saw PU for 8.49 a quart. RP filters were 14.99. You could also purchase 5 quarts of RP and an RP filter for 49.99.

wow...

Agreed. I think the problem is marketing. Walmart here seems to be stocked FULL of FRAMs, Fram regular, XG, and EGs....though, ours has some Motorcraft's, and the latest addition (is it by locale only? others chime in) is Mopar filters, marketed towards the "european" and 'luxury' vehicles.

My Walmart would need another aisle to stock any more filters :) Currently, the majority is FRAM though, the Motorcraft filters they got are probably 20 or so filters, Mopar, probably 10, all the rest are SuperTech and Fram.

watching the video, surprised they actually have humans involved :P Hopefully they are tested before distribution to make sure the springs and Anti-drain back valves were loaded properly, those conveyer belts look like they move past those hands pretty fast :) I would hope that's all tested in the "multi-pass" testing stage? :)

Seems either their filter selection form doesn't work, or there's no filters available for a large selection of 2008 vehicles...tried Kia, Hyundai, Lexus, and no selections came available....unless it's my browser not liking their forms hehe.

2008 Hyundai, Kia, and Lexus "all" have multiple models appear on the RP web site/filter look up. My 08 Ram also came up. Actually, they go as new as 2010 for models.
