To be fair, which other legitimate oil companies sell additives like Mos2, Ceratec, etc.? Definitely not Mobil.
Fundamentally it is just wrong. Not ethical. It is nearly impossible for someone to claim that an additive will bolster the performance of any oil without the potential of additive clash or diminishing the performance of the oil it is being added to. As an oil company, they start at a level of credibility that is higher than most additive companies; offering products like these ruin their credibility.

The M1 options you presented are fully formulated oils which have a certain level of performance that can be validated.
Yes - we definitely disagree on this topic. To me, even offering additives sets a bad precedent - and hurts the brand's credibility. Do you see Mobil or Shell/Pennzoil offering a pour-in additive to improve wear? No!

Now you're changing the topic...
Fundamentally, a properly formulated oil - take your pick, OE approved or not, should not require (or benefit) from a pour-in additive.

but its redline and its not made in GERMANY so this is a good reputation brand? or isnt it a big blender like shell and mobil?and i didnt see it hurts its credibility.
motul does have additives too.is a small brand? see my point? not good arguments..it seems that there is some kind of prejudice just for LIQUI MOLY ...the sponsor of formula 1... and we all know where it came from or whom..
in europe there arent any negative opinions about the company.it is rated on top brands.like or not, good or bad oils, that is subjectively from someones good or bad experience ,but isnt it happenning for all oils? as i said in the past, one of my friends who owns many bmws and mercs used M 1 esp 5-30 and his bmw burnt oil.he switch to fuchs and everything normal..does that mean M1 is bad oil? no.see where am i getting it?

LIQUI MOLY is not a bad company or cheap as it used to be for a small period when they began blending oils without getting approvals. they moved forward, approvals and tests speak for themselves.marketing? well ,if you ask or see some opinions about oil on the internet especially from european drivers ,they are not willing to buy their favorite oil filter if its not made in germany.so there is a company that fulfils their expectation ,so next argument please.
one more thing..liqui moly doesn't contain moly ,but so doesn't contain castor oil the castrol brand.its a joke as an argument.
and finally LM began from selling and making additives.its an additive's company and later almost 10 years after they began blending.
so if anything LM is the pioneer of selling some additives first.then they made it in oils too.
oh and ceratec is probably the most selling product from LM.does it work? does it work right? we dont know, but people use it and we have to respect that as we respect redlines additives.
