Rowe Racing 10W40

Hello @all.

Here is the VOA from the Rowe Racing 10W40, which is a thin sae40. Rowe has used it in the m6 gt3.
Today they use 0W30 in their m4 gt3.

What do you think about this Engine oil? Maybe i can use it in my Civic Type r for 5000 kilometres.

Thank you for your contribution. Beyond that your VOA is a bit sobering.
This '10W-40' seems to come as-new as '10W-30' or within its first 500 mls.
80 ppm of boron and molybdenum - nothing special, few reason to spend
the presumable premium . . .

The oil has a Noack of 3-4. It was designed without polymers, due to the good PAO base oil it does not need it. The additive is not important here, as the base oil has a very good quality, probably PAO6. Absolutely fully synthetic, also in German law. I think it's very high quality. It probably also has organic friction modifiers.

This is not a problem for the engines for which it is intended. 2300 calcium is far from high. Everything in a frame. One should not forget that a VOA does not give absolute insight into how well an engine oil performs. The base oil, on the other hand, allows further conclusions. As a racing oil, that would be the oil of my choice
