Oh, absolutely.
Around here many use it instead of much more expensive prop and shaft treatments for boats left in the water (yachts, etc.). This is in saltwater in Puget Sound. I did my front rotors with this just a few weeks ago and will do the rear soon. I used the Rustoleum brand I got from Lowe's.
