Rotella T and extended drains

Has anyone used Rotella T 5W40 synthetic for extended drains in thier gas powered vehicles. Not super extended but say 10 to 12K miles.

I plan to go about 10K if my analysis with M1 looks OK.

My local walmart has the gallon jugs for $12 each. That has to be the bargain of the week!

Neither have the synthetic near me

They both have the regular rotella, but not the 5w-40 synth.

I was going to run it longer. I had it in 5K miles in my 22RE Toyota. It broke a timing chain with the stuff in there. I really don't think it was a problem with the oil. But I'm never going to use it again on purely superstitious reasons.

Where can this be found BESIDES Wal-Mart? My local wally world has in in quarts ONLY and at $4.92 each it's more the most expensive oil on their shelves! Where else can I find the Rotella synth?
