Robotic Lawnmowers

I was looking at getting a Husqvarna Automower to do all the mowing for me when I move into my new place. I was curious if anyone on this forum owns one of these or a robotic mower from another brand. The main concern I have is how easy it would be for someone to steal it. Can anyone share their real-time experience with one of these?

I have never seen one being used.

As far as it being stolen, most people would recommend keeping an eye on it while sitting in the shade and drinking a cold beer.

I have been using a Robomower for 10 years or so. No problems with theft. YMMV.

You don't want to have to watch it, you want to let it work unsupervised while you are doing something else.

YouTube videos are sparse to say the least (and many of them are in Swedish or German).

I remember EPCOT at Disney world had 1 of them back in the 90's or so in a fenced off area. Me being the little gear head that I was just had to stare at it for an hour at a time.

Cool to see another guy has had luck and I am sure they are an awesome appliance, but my take on them is that there is a reason they never quite took off.
