I use RMI-25 in my 95 PSD very successfully (with coolant analysis once to make sure it was working). I am very impressed with it and have used it in all our liquid cooled engines. Now my wife is buying an 07 LBZ Duramax. with all the stories I've heard about Dexcool, can i add a little RMI-25 in this? I am mostly going for the cleaning and lube properties since I believe the duramax doesn't require an additive for cavitation. How is Dexcool now?
thank you

GM apparently fixed the issue when the 2004 model vehicles came out. At least that is what I have read on here. RMI-25 is a great product, I am currently using it along with Amsoil coolant, and I've noticed that it's broken down some gunk and moved it to the reservoir.

As for how is Dexcool, I don't want to start a debate, as it appeared to be a cooling system design flaw, rather than a coolant design flaw. But I'll admit that I haven't researched the subject much.
