1996 BMW M3 (3.2L), entirely street-driven. RLI BioSyn SHP 0w-30. But you knew that.

This is my first run so I haven't decided on an OCI yet. It's been in for 4 months and about 5k miles. I just pulled a sample for a UOA, so we'll see how that turns out; I'll be looking to extend my OCIs as far as possible.

I'm using the Renewable Lubricants 5w30 in my wife's Mitsubishi Endeavor 3.8L on an annual OCI. I used Amsoil 5w30 for the previous annual OCI.

Previously used RLI for 2 annual OCIs in my 2001 Saturn SL2. The Saturn S-series legendary oil consumption (and two kids in college) caused me to switch to dino. I've posted UOAs from the Saturn RLI runs.

I might try the 5w40 after I exhaust my supply of RL, GC and RP. But then there's HDD to try also...

As I recall StevieC (can I say that?

) currently has in his Hyundai sump a blend of RLI 0W30 (with a bit of RLI....5W20?).

I have used the RLI 0W-20 x2 OCIs, and RLI 0w30 x1 OCI (second 0w30 run in progress).

I posted UOAs on those fills, along with UOAs generated from Amsoil oil and Havolin conventiona.l but, oddly, received very little response on said posting. This despite some interesting results.

I kept the OCIs at about 5000 miles. The runs were short due to the emergence of nickel in the UOAs (started with Amsoil run).

The vehicle is a 2005 Acura TL with a manual transmission. One driver, all oils run under similar conditions, similar length of time and milage. Many UOAs include TBN, and RLI in particular has TBN and TAN.

Since you are curious about the RLI bio-syn oil, I wonder what comment you might have about the "head to head" comparison of those oils. You can glimpse some of the performance issues with RLI (or other oil, if any).

The UOAs are posted in the UOA section; no link as I do not wish to appear to "derail" the thread.

I have the RLI 75W-90 in the rear differential of my Subaru. Have around 12,000 miles on the oil.

Im on my 3 OCI of the 5w40 in an 07 Mazda MazdaSpeed 6, 2.3L DI turbo. Will run and post the 3rd UOA in a month or 2.

No derailing here. If you have them handy, post away.

I would love to see more UOAs of those incredible FUCHS oils; specifically their zinc free 0W20.
