Rislone Diesel DEF Treatment

I have recently read about Rislone Diesel DEF Treatment. Not for the fuel, but for the DEF. It's supposed to eliminate and prevent the def crystallization and I can't find anything else like it on the market. Is this a currently unique product, what are your thoughts on it and does it work? There is a curative product and a maintenance product.

If seems like additive companies will make a solution for every type of fluid out there. IMO nothing is needed for DEF if you keep it fresh. DEF has a shelf life and bad things can happen to an expensive system if you don’t keep it fresh. I don’t have a DEF diesel but if I did I’d keep the tank closer to empty than full to avoid issues.

I just put 2.5 gallons of this in my DEF tank, maybe I'll gain 100mpg and 500tq from it

I did read that BD Platinum has a def treatment in it. Maybe you're right.

Interesting. The only issue I’ve had on my truck in 60k miles is 3 ECLs that all came back to emission sensor. All 3 times the ECL went away after a couple of days
