I'm not much of a country music fan, but I remember his songs playing on the radio a lot growing up. My older brother used to dance around the house singing "Who's your daddy?" a lot. He's definitely an icon of 90's country and will be missed by many. RIP
I was driving home from CT last week after helping daughter with a flat tire. Pandora playing mostly country and rock. Pulled up to a light, "Who's your daddy" playing on the speakers. Looked left and saw this. RIP Toby Keith. His charity he started was for kids with cancer. https://www.tobykeithfoundation.org/
One of the country stars I met in early 2006. We talked some and he was a roughneck on oil wells in the very early 80’s before Oklahomas oil boom went bust. Very humble man; glad I had chance to meet him.
