I didn't see this mentioned, and I just found out he passed on 5/20/2023.

He was probably the most well-known SR-71 pilot. He was an inspiration to me.

I have two of his books and saw him speak at Sun-N-Fun. I was a big fan of Brian Shull.

I've caught bits and pieces, and he could give a good talk. Quite the background.

I remember hearing about this story back in the 90's. At least I think I did... at any rate, pretty funny.

I really enjoyed his book “Sled Driver, flying the worlds fastest jet”. He’s a great storyteller.

Talked with a former Blackbird pilot the other day. Mentioned the book.

And he said, “Brian is a great storyteller”.
