In the old days I was always racing for money. Nowdays I just enjoy the car. If I were still into racing for money, my hp and 1/4 times wouldn't be listed on the internet. The last money race I had was supposed to be the fastest street legal car in town. I drove to the spot and he showed up on a trailor with a gutted big block Chevy II. All his redneck buddies were shaking their heads that I was attempting to race this guy with a V6. The look afterwards was priceless.

Now I'm trying to be careful not to cross the line between a fun street car and a barely legal track car. With the extra displacement and higher redline I think I can make a little more power while retaining the same streetabilitiy. One thing is for sure, I won't be waiting to drive over the bottom end every time I floor it anymore.

Valvoline VR1 dino might be a good choice if this is not a DD...I know it is not syn, but there has got to be a reason why Valvoline makes their racing oil in dino only; it must be good for high-HP cars & turbos....???

Valvoline ALSO makes a synthetic VR1 race oil. I'd imagine that's good stuff.....

If you've never tried Redline try it.
Their 30 grade acts like a 40 grade.

I'd talk to the guys at Red Line, Red Line 20W-50 has an HT/HS of 6.1 and the high film strength of an ester-based oil. It'll stand up to fuel, stand up to the turbo, stand up to the high cylinder pressures and bottom end load. The stuff is a time and a half stronger for HT/HS than most 20W-50 and 15W-50 oils.

They also have a 50 weight (15W-50) racing oil. This stuff is about the only thing I would think of using in that type of application, and I'm surprised you are doing as well as you are with SuperFlo.
