Retired and yearly mileage is really low

I'd try to get 1 UOA done after the 1 year/whatever mileage, just to establish things and so the advice given can have more definitive suggestions...just suggesting!
 
Two of my vehicles average about 2K a year, and I do a yearly change (in the fall). Not sure I'd want to keep an oil filter on for 2 years, although that's probably ok with a quality filter.

When I was doing 2 year intervals with my mom's 2001 VW Golf, I was using the OEM oil filter and right on the side of the filter it said it was good for 2 years/30,000km. I'm sure many oil filters could handle that kind of interval.
