Makes me mad when I see this, talk about a waste of time and resources.
Definitely true though, growing up I witnessed this too many times. He's also wearing the wrong slippers to do that, they need to go over the top of the foot like this, X, and not like this, =
I'm sure if I would have passed by my uncles house just a few hours sooner the other night, he would have just finished washing the garage floor, it's wine making season.

Here in STL we have an area known as "Scrubby Dutch Town" the older folk in that area, literally get out and use scrub brushes on the sidewalks in front of their homes. Sadly many of these neighborhoods are now turning over and the art and practice of such is dying with them.
IMO he’s a jewel! This old guy seems willing to show and explain to his grandson how he made a rudimentary tool to help keep his place looking nice. At least he’s moving around making good use of his time and not sitting on the couch watching Gunsmoke reruns and complaining!Makes me mad when I see this, talk about a waste of time and resources.
Yeah, I guess so. Washing driveways always seemed like a waste to me.
I like to see pride of ownership on display. I can think of some private properties I see (thankfully not near me) which look like junkyards.
