Report no TOP TIER™ Logo at Station

It really depends on my traveled routes honestly. The more stoplights, the worse your mpg. Driving to work and spending most of it on base with few stoplights, I can always well exceed the factory mpg. Driving to work and spending most of it in town, I get the average or worse.
I moved out of the city and got away from the traffic now I'm stuck with hills and big slow moving trucks. Plus last time I picked a big long heavy truck with a hemi so I got what I deserved I guess. I probably shouldn't complain.

Those Hemis are great at a lot of things, but MPG ain’t one of them, lol. I had an 04 Ram QC 4x4 with the 5.7 in it. Great truck and I regret ever selling it. It required midgrade and got a whopping 13mpg, 😂. My Navigator L 4x4 at least takes regular, but still gets 13mpg. My GL450 (AWD) gets 19 around town but requires premium. It’s about $12 cheaper per 300mi than the Navigator.

Those are the reasons why I ride my motorcycle as much as possible. It gets around 40mpg around town.

Science vs experience. ....I think I will go with what I know to be true. I've had many high mileage vehicles over the years and the fuel brand never was a factor, just octane level.
Science vs .......sure
Whatever man.
Use what you want.
Many SAE papers very clearly state that non.TT gas leaves deposits and some very quickly, all over the place.
I'll pay extra for gas that won't.
To me that's an easy decision. Especially considering my daily commute is 3-5 mins.
Cheers.

I actually pay less for TT gas and the location is super convenient. Unless I wanted to prove something to BITOGers, I'd be crazy not to use it.

For the last year, in my Corvette, I have only used Mobil 93 octane, which is TopTier. For some reason, a Mobil station near me sells this Supreme fuel for 60 cents a gallon less than any other station, any brand, around. So, as Alfred E Neuman said, "What, Me Worry?" I get great mileage, performance and throttle response, and no indication of any fuel related issues.

Since your favorite station doesn't have a sticker, you can buy swag to make you feel better. :ROFLMAO:

The main problem with the TT labels is that they are too darn small. Barely larger than a postage stamp. Costco is top-tier and I trust that they have the additives they claim and they even ensure this by putting in the additives on site. And with Price, they are normally the lowest price gas in town so the best of both worlds. YMMV.

Here the labels are 2x2" or 3x3" on the pumps.

Yes, they're usually quite large as mentioned above. You sir, have a potential fake sticker being used, no worries, Top Tier has you covered for those that are using counterfeit stickers. You can even upload the picture below. :ROFLMAO: :)🫡

Thank you for that. I will have to follow up with TT people as the tiny little gold sticker I saw was at a very busy Shell station of all places.🙄

I am in Southern California and usually buy gas from Shell stations.
Over past few month, I noticed multiple Shell stations are missing TT stickers at the pump.
Anyone else noticed the same?

There are Shell and Exxon stations directly across the street from each other near me. The Shell station has 12 pumps, but NONE have Top Tier stickers. A couple of pumps at the Exxon station are missing stickers. It seems to be totally random; some TT stations are good about keeping stickers on all of their pumps, some are not. I reported the Shell station nearly a year ago; no change.

BP is a big one who adds more and feels no need to pay TT subscription of use payments. Whether it is as good, who knows.
I think ChrisFix did a video on this yeas ago saying that all levels of fuel met the minimum standards. Each grade increase the level of cleaning additives, but even if you got their base fuel, you were still getting those Top Tier benefits.
