Replacing Convertible Rear Window

We would like to remove the window insert and replace the area around it with a glass window. Is that possible? Difficult? I assume it would be rather spendy.

A competent auto upholsterer or marque specialist would be the best resource to consult.

Type of car and assuming you mean the entire area within the flap, does the top need to fold there? Is the current small pane and panel a replacement?

Call me crazy, I prefer a large Eisinglass window to a smaller glass panel.

We have a shop but won't be able to get the car to them for an evaluation until mid-month and I was hoping to perhaps get a jump on what to expect. Yes, the small window is a replacement and I do mean the entire area within the flap. This is a pic of another car with a restored original window:

Consider yourself lucky if you have a good local shop, that is a dying skill....
