I have a 98 Expedition 5.4 with auxillary rear heater.
I want to replace the O-Ring seals on the 2 heater core lines while I have the intake out and have easy access to all the parts.
I am having troubles finding just the O-Rings and the dealer hoses are out of budget.
Any idea where I can get replacement O-Rings for OEM heater hose quick connect fittings? I would rather not cut the hoses to put an aftermarket connector if I don't have to, since all I need are the seals.

Aftermarket O-rings are a hit or miss, often they aren't as tight as OEM but for a vehicle your age that is probably the only option.

The main problem with push-on fittings is rusting of the metal part.

You're sticking your head pretty far down the groundhog hole of "if it ain't broke" here, don't be too surprised should your face get chewed up.
