Michelin Costco special this time around since I keep hearing they last beyond 70K a set. These do ride better in the rain than the Toyos so far.

Which Toyo's? and on Which SUV?

Not that I care a great deal about what tires people want to run. But my sister put 80k miles on a set of LT265/75R16 Toyo Open Country H/T's on her 4wd 4Runner. The tires still had 4/32nds when she sold it to buy a new 4Runner. They were still smooth, quiet, did fine in rain, and ok in snow at that tread depth.

I had the same tires on my F-250 and they were surprisingly good in the winter and very quiet. Can't comment on wear, I never wore them out, sold the truck.
