Is there a chemical that will remove the print found on white PVC piping. Not looking to sand but just make everything white for a project I am working on. Thanks

Clear PVC primer, used for PVC. It will also remove the sheen on the pipe. It is MEK, in a different bottle.

What are you doing?

You have to be quick, but they make a clear prep primer for PVC that should work fine. Nasty stuff, but it should do the job. Maybe laquer thinner too.

Ok.

Any chemical you use to remove the lettering is going to remove the sheen on the outside of the pipe.....it is just the way it is. Currently, the sheen allow you to wipe clean the pipe. If you remove it, it will be much harder to keep clean. FYI.

You can of course paint it perhaps white with a nice appliance epoxy paint, or gray to match your pad....cool idea

Does your dog really wipe its mouth off?

As funny as it sounds she does and she was taking the towel off the counter to do so. LOL

Most non-chlor brake clean is primarily acetone. This would likely work although I've never tried it. Just wet a paper towel and wipe to see. Try to avoid the 50-state stuff
