Removing Engine Sludge - 1995 Toyota T100

Toyota guy here. That is super bad.

Anything you do is not the right answer. If you clean it yourself, you knock a bunch of dirt around. If you run an engine clean through it, you knock dirt around.

I would but another head on it this point, or just change the oil every 1000 miles and pray.
 
Just my 2 cents here. I think the cheapest way out would be what Toyota guy says. Buy bulk oil and bulk filters, and dump it every 1,000 miles. Maybe it will slowly break up some of that junk. Do some highway mileage to keep the RPM's up there, helps keep oil pressure high to bust up some of that muck.
