Removing 303?

I have a buildup of 303 Protectant on the door vinyl/plastic. Is there a good way to clean it off? I believe it is a polymer type material and I didn't wipe the excess off fast enough. Ed

Are you sure it's only 303? I would just try re-applying 303 evenly. Read below:

Use an all purpose cleaner. Might take a couple of applications. Remember that plastic is porous so the 303 has already embedded itself but the excess should wipe off pretty easily.

I've tried 409. I also have tried dish washing soap with a scrub brush without success.

Are you sure it's only 303? It doesn't sound like it. Sounds more like AA. You could try Purple Power or Simple Green (initially diluted).

Have you tried rubbing alcohol?

Or

A water and bleach mix, followed quickly by alot more water?

6:1 ratio of water to woolite

I used Windex on a paper towel. worked for me in the past. don't go crazy and follow it up with your preferred protectant.

Email 303 Aerospace and ask them.

I have slopped 303 on and let it sit without having your problem

Just follow up with a dry microfiber towel.
I always buff the 303 with a MF towel after 10 minutes or so..

That is very odd! 303 should NEVER do that. We have used it on hundereds of cars over the years and have never seen that happen.

I spoke with a 303 rep a few years back and heres what he had to say about the product. I'm not sure if this will be of any help, but its worth a shot. By the way, ignore what i was worried about in the thread, it wasn't 303's fault.
