Remove Water Spotting

We have hard water. Very hard. Leaves mineral deposits on windshield, even after removing water w/chamois. I removed them with vinegar before the residue etched the glass. Don't remember if I used pure vinegar or a solution w/distilled water. what would the vinegar to water ratio be if I mix it?

on my black preowned 2011 frontier vinegar did nothing on the spots on it but Griots #2 polish now called correcting creme made the color look new, minus a few nicks. i followed with collonite 915 wax for a finish that POPS!!

Ceramabryte cook top cleaner for smooth Ceran top electric ranges will also do a decent job of removing water scale. I've used on the glass shower door in master bath with good results.

Meguiar's #47 Hard Water Spot Remover works great on boats. Don't know why cars would be any different.
