Remember when you could get this for $24 and $22 on sale?

I remember when you could buy a Colt Python for $175.00 at U.S.E department stores in Millbrae California in 1970 before **** Nixon removed the U.S. dollar from the Gold standard.

US is in the early stage of soft defaulting process on its debt, inflation is 15% if calculated same way they used to do it before 1980, the idea current gov has is to make population pay for it all. 'Controlled' chaos is part of this process.
Now, how does it surprise anyone that prices are going up and products' availability is going down?

Yup.
Some people say oil hoarders have a problem (and some do), but I have a nice stash of over 100 quarts of synthetic oil that I paid an average of $0.52/qt.

Yes, when times are tough you can start auctioning items from your stash

I think the criticism comes from it’s minimal impact to daily life... If as part of a bigger plan to stash various necessities such as water, food, medical supplies, fuel etc. then it is well thought out. However if it stands alone then it is more of a hobby rather than a plan for long term self sustainability.

LOL we have a problem nothing to whine about except maybe not getting a rebate. Always have the oil I need at a more than fair price. But I've slowed my Stash way down. At 77 years old its not like I realistically have a long driving history in my future!
