What are their quality, have always used brand name, but as is everyone trying to save a little and thought about trying them found cartridges for my HP from a company called LD any input on reman ink or LD would be great.

I buy new OEM cartridges off of eBay, and still save money.

Folks will buy extra cartridges for printers, and then the printer dies or they simply get a new one.

I have been refilling my own HP cartridges for about 5 years now. I usually get about 2 refills per cartridge before they start printing irregularly, usually a dead nozzle so I get blank streaks. I'm going to start tossing them after 2 refills and not try for a third.

I buy my ink online from Printer Filling Station. It costs less than $2 to refill a cartridge. Mine uses the HP56 and 57 type cartridges which are ideal for refilling because the print head is part of the cartridge so you don't need to worry about damaging a print head with the wrong ink.

i usually go onto Amazon for my inks, and get the generic one. i have also used reman and they so far have always worked, that's for the canon pixma printer. normally if a company is in business, nowadays, the product normally works, or they make it right, because otherwise, with internet rating, they quickly go out of business. that's why i like amazon, because the customers rate the company, and you can see the feedback right there, and if you get a bad deal, you can write your opinion right on amazon.

We got a Brother 11"x17" printer a few months ago. The Brother cartridges are non-refillable so I went to good old Amazon and got some aftermarket cartridges for it that are refillable. They will get refilled when they get low.

A bought refill ink for them from Printer Filling Station like I did my HP printer. The Brother uses the same black ink but the color inks are different.

I checked Amazon and they had ths same LD brand for same price as buying directly from LD $8.95 compared to $29.95 each new and it takes 4 of them didn't check ebay yet will do that,my printer uses the 88xl series cartridges i didn't think about refilling myself don't know if i can but i will check on it thanks for the info, you guys on BITOG are always a help!

Sounds like refilling may be a viable option, according to the web site my 88xl cartridges are chipped and carry a date code and will cease function after 2 years regardless of full or empty status will have to check on that aspect did save web site for future reference thanx for the link good stuff to know.

I bought some re-manufactured cartridges off Amazon a few months ago. The print quality was very poor and then my printer threw a non-ink related error and wouldn't print at all. I pulled the cartridges and went back to genuine HP one and everything is perfect again. The company I bought the re-manufactured cartridges from did stand behind their product and refunded my money, but I won't be trying them again.

MY faithfull Canon bit the print head dust the other month and it cost more to fix it then replace it. I bought a HP 6940 network printer a about a year ago just in case.

I hope it does not have chipped carts. The Canon worked perfectly with all printing chores with lower cost carts off of Ebay.

Companies that are doing this chipped carts and stopping the printing after x number of months are cutting me out of their customer base. I understand Epson is the worst offender.

LD sells on Ebay as discount_inkjet.
I've only used their black HP15 cartridges, they print the same as OEM cartridges in my printer.
