I have been reading a lot of good reports on Redline SI-1 and I think I will give it a try. Their website says 15 ounces treats "up to 100 gallons of gas". I have a 22 gallon tank, is it OK to put the whole 15 ounce bottle in on one tank or do you use less when you use it at specified mileage intervals as a Fuel Injector cleaner and Fuel System cleaner? I used to use Regane about every 5000 miles.

I have been using MMO for the last 4 months, and have not used a strong fuel system or injector cleaner in probably 10,000 miles now. How much SI-1 do you use as a maintenance dose, and do you use it at every fuel fill? MMO users, is it OK to use MMO and Sl-1 in the same tank together?

Thanks for any help here.

use the entire bottle for the first time and maintance dose a couple of ounces per tank there after. I just do a full bottle at every OCI

The older bottles had 10 gallon graduations. In my tanks of
The new bottles dont seem to have the graduations, so it is all by eye I guess.

Less is more with any adds, IMO. Just go by that, and you should be fine.

Try to get a look at an older bottle to see how much volume is required to treat a given amount of fuel.

Iam not sure which one is the latest one, I got 2 bottles with new label (metallic background) but one with and one without the 10 gal scales. However whenI read it, now it said to use 3 oz for every 10 gal for maintenance instead of 1.5 oz even though the bottle got 10 gal scale (1.5 oz each).

I bought a bottle at Pep Boys tonight. I was at 1/4 tank so I dumped the whole bottle in and filled up on Texaco 87 at $2.79 a gallon.

Maybe it's psychological but right away my truck felt like it had a noticeable power improvement. It just feels stronger. I'll be able to tell over the next couple of days commuting to work on the turnpike.

I too am hoping for improvement. I hope it helps my power and increases my MPG too. I think I will just keep using my MMO maintenance dose at each tank fill, but I did not add any MMO with the SL-1. I'll run that tank out first, then start back on MMO in the fuel.

Thanks for the help.

i wish gas was $2.79 here. I pay $2.95 and thats the cheapest.(costco gas)

This was my first time I used the Red Line, it seems to be working very well. Power has a noticeable improvement and the gas gauge doesn;t seem to be falling as fast. It also seems to have cleared up a slight hesitation/stumbling problem I had when I first start my truck in the morning. My truck is running great with the Red Line so far.

Thanks for the help here.

I bought my snowblower 5 yrs ago and from the first tank of fuel i put in 1 cap full of RL when i filled the tank. When i took the plug out a few weeks ago

I wish gas was $2.95 here! We pay 1.01 per liter right now, which is $3.82 per gallon! (and the premium my Corvette needs is $4.31!)
