I have three vehicles that take Type F transmission fluid in the power steering pump. I am thinking of running Redline in them next time I change the fluid. Redline power steering fluid is listed to fit nearly any application including Type F, Dexron, Mercon, etc. I always thought you didn't mess with a Type F system putting anything but Type F in them as Type F was not friction modified, whereas Dexron and others are. The Redline Racing ATF is Type F, but very thick (10 cSt) whereas their PS fluid is a bit under 7 cSt. I just wonder how Redline's one power steering fluid can fit all these varying applications and if anyone has used the Redline PS in a Type F steering pump, did it work out in the long run?
