Don't give up on the Redline yet. Read Terry Dyson's post on the thread Jason Troxell posted. According to Terry, Reline cleans some residual soft metals that other oils can't. My understanding is the soft numbers should slowly go down.

Better yet, PM Terry Dyson. I think he would give you the skinny on Redline.
 
Regarding Copper in Redline Oils.

I just read an SAE paper in which additives of copper carboxylates and copper oleates were developed for use as antioxidants and as Viscosity Index levelers.

So it may be that this type of additive contributes a copper level in UOA much higher than for
lubes without the additive.
