It's one of my favorite RL oil grades although I haven't used that particular grade.
My RL source in my area will only sell me a case since it's not a high demand grade in his speed shop.

It has about the same viscosity characteristics as as Mobil Delvac 1 ESP 0W-40.
If you were going to try it just for the fun of it I'd thin it out with 20% TGMO 0W-20. This will give you a lighter 0W-40 with a higher 195 VI and a more appropriate ZDDP level.

M1 0w40 UOA's wear wise are so much better then RL?
I been browsing the UOA do I miss anything ?

Who said that?

BTW, a $20 UOA is not a very good tool for comparing engine wear from one oil to another.

Yeah I agree ... But looking at UOA's and the metals they seem to be a bit higher .... I read here that its due polarity of the base oil .... or something like this ..

I will be dropping M1 0W40 shortly I'm thinking about spending the extra ~100 at wearcheck to have wear metal analyzed ....
