That will teach me to re-read before I post...... You are correct. The Purflux is for the Prince engines and his Tritec powered convertible would have the Mann filter as OEM. As you were.

Consider Fuchs Titan GT1 PRO C-3 5w30 (XTL-Technology). Fuchs, in Mannheim, have close ties with M-B, VW, BMW (and therefore Mini)
