Arcan Jack

It is available at most COSTCO stores for ~$99 and at Northern Tool for ~$130. It is low profile so it will fit under the lower clearance front ends of Mazdas, Hondas, etc. I have had one for 7 years and it works flawlessly.

Yeah I bought the Costco version for just under 100 bucks, and I really like it. It picks up any of my vehicles very easily.

I would get a 1 1/2 ton jack which you can find many places. Maybe 2 ton. But a three ton jack will be a heavy beast to drag around (or carry) and you do not need it. I have a 1 1/2 Craftsman that is 20 years old and I use it for most vehicle jacking. I have a 3 ton but I only use that for jacking my Bobcat.

I know! I covet this thing every time it goes on sale but I have a large iron floor jack (very heavy) for the serious work around the garage and I can't justify buying that nice aluminum one just yet

Got great reviews too what do you guys think?

Those jack stands will serve you well. I have the exact same ones but with a different brand sticker on them. They did a great job holding up a car when I did a transmission swap a year ago and various other odd jobs.

What car?

2005 Chrysler 300. Put in a $300 junkyard transmission due to some real small drivability problems that were annoying me. Works like brand new now.

I'm pretty sure that's the exact same jack as the Torin 2 ton you posted in your first post in this thread. I used to have one like that but was very happy to get rid of it. It didn't go down nearly as low as my current jack so I had trouble using it on many cars and the effort required to pump up a car is considerably more than a full size floor jack. Do yourself a favor and go with something bigger.

Give it a try and see how you like it!

Canadian Tire ask no questions if you return stuff within 90 days.

I might just wait b/c of too many bad reviews.

For oil changes I use ramps so I am good for few more weeks until this **** warms up.
