I use Zymol on a Lexus RX300. It was recommended by the dealership. It is the best wax I have ever used! It is easy to use, gives good results, and smells great. Big lots had some of the Zymol car wash on sale, so I bought some. Smells just like the wax. Worked great together. Just washed waxed it this week.

This is my current favorite: Klasse All-In-One, followed by Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze. And if that's not shiny enough for ya', put a coat of plain carnuba (i.e. not the stuff that cleans and waxes) on top.

Where is it sold?

another good cleaner wax you can find fairly easily is mothers carnuaba. either the paste or liquid gives excellent results.

that said, i'm the kind of guy who waxes at least every other month, and i use quick detailing spray and/or spray wax in between full waxings.

now that i've re-read your post, you might look for a synthetic wax, as they can resist heat better on a darker surface.

If your using OTC stuff, I highly recommend the 3M line of products found at PepBoys/Autozone etc. Good stuff. Mother's isn't bad either but my brother just tried both and the 3M out performed hands down.
