rechargeable batteries

Alkalines definitely still make sense in devices where the alkaline last a year or two. Clocks, smoke alarms, thermometers, etc. I've had good luck with Kirkland alkalines from Costco. Cheap and decent quality.

My stash of alkalines os going to last until they expire because I'm using NiMh in everything that doesn't run 6 months on a set of alkalines.

Yep and my t-stats give a low voltage message and don't work with NiMH AA's.

This is the one that we've got it will do NiMH, NiCd, rechargeable alkaline, normal alkaline (a few to a few dozen times...doesn't like duracell), Titanium. etc.

Can charge AAAs, those short AAs, up to D Cell, 9V and 6V.

each spot is charged seperately.



Does that one resume it's state after a short power failure?

But rechargeable is better for the environment (less stuff in landfill).
