Spotted the adult first and then the kits emerged from the woods . Pictures are a bit fuzzy due to taking them through sliding glass door and had to use zoom since they were at a distance .

The mother fox and her 6 kits were back last night . Took this through double pane sliding glass door . 1 or 2 were in the woods .

Keep our cats indoor . Also , have Coyotes' . Their instincts get the best of 'em .

Took earlier . Noticed the tree seed ( MAPLE ? ) was moving . Got a closer look and saw the RED ant (?) dragging it close to 5" back to its nest that's likely beneath the driveway pavement . Amazing .

Ever see a turkey fly up into a tree? It's an amazing sight. My mother has some 100ft pine trees in her backyard and those things fly up to the top to roost at night.

Yes , have seen that . Almost hit a turkey flying across the interstate in front of the car going around 65 . Had to slam on the brakes to avoid it by inches of windshield . So they certainly have the ability to fly a good distance . Do have turkeys on occasion .

This occurs every year with numerous tiny toad sightings . Have to watch your step . May have to set up a cross walk ( hop ) .
