It looks like they’re using a old thermoquad carburetor.
What did they do on the rebuild? Anything spicy?
What cam did you go with? Here are the stock LQ9 specs.
Sounds great! I would be afraid of dropping a valve or something without a load on the engine. Looks like it will take some pretty high rpm's.
I remember those-had one on a 440-3 Dodge Class A motorhome. THREE MPGs, and E10 gas would destroy the plastic center section of the carb if it wasn't ran dry before storage! Nice mods on the LS, but I wonder how much low RPM towing would suffer, a Hummer is still a fairly heavy truck.
No load? The dyno puts a lot on it?
Sorry, I thought it was on no load. That makes a lot more sense and I am just used to seeing the dyno's with the wheels that spin underneath the rear tires and the entire vehicle is on the unit.

eBay ls carb manifold knock off. Slightly port matched by hand.
Trick flow cam 216/220 .560/.560 on a 114 LSA

That dyno sheet looks perfect for my use. I would rather not have the Carb VS EFI debate. A dialed in carb on a LS is really snappy and easy to live with.
